A religious historian long studied Christianity in China and modern church-state relations
The infrequency of tours led by Professor Ying limits the opportunities for people to access his valuable knowledge, depriving many of learning experiences. To address this, we propose leveraging Professor Ying’s expertise to design an immersive virtual tour for those interested in religious culture and history. The Storius team will record and digitize Professor Ying’s physical tours, uploading them to the Storius App so users can freely listen and partake in this expert-guided experience.

CityGuided Tour by Environmental Architects
The Hong Kong Architecture Centre has partnered with Storius, featuring a personal recording by the Centre’s chairman and director of Zero Carbon World, architect Tony Ip, covering eco-friendly buildings in the Kowloon Bay to Kwun Tong area. In addition to explaining Zero Carbon World, the tour will visit nearby “Green in Kwun Tong” and the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department to explore these hidden green oases within the urban jungle.

To address this, a storytelling platform is provided for local minority communities to narrate their stories and experiences. Storius has curated three unique multicultural tours of Hong Kong, narrated by renowned artists and dedicated volunteers, detailing the history and stories of minority groups in Hong Kong.

To preserve Yim Tin Tsai’s rich cultural heritage,we aim to capture and share the vibrant oral histories of its villagers. By engaging with residents, we will delve into the village’s history, agrarian practices, and religious traditions. This project will offer two free guided tours led by local villagers and CUHK researchers, accessible through our app, to enhance public understanding and appreciation of this unique community.
